Congratulations to the winners of the Climate Action Competition
Organized by Professor Joe Kennedy and the Center for Healthy Environments, the competition was supported by a grant from NewSchool Foundation’s Hay Fund. Students had ten weeks to propose unique, innovative, and creative solutions to address climate change and resilience in the San Diego/ Tijuana region. Following presentations, proposals were judged on relevancy, business case, creativity, research, graphic and verbal presentation, and relevance to San Diego’s regional need. Prizes were awarded for first, second, and third, and best business idea, best climate action idea, and best regional idea.
